On behalf of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, I invite you to attend CoC Program Start-Up Training to implement the HEARTH Act, a free training event for HUD Continuum of Care recipients and others working to end homelessness.
HUD’s two-day training is intended for CoC leads and recipients of Continuum of Care Program funds. It provides an overview of new program requirements, recipient responsibilities regarding grant operations and administration, and the role of subrecipients required by the HEARTH Act.
Some of the specific topics that will be covered include:
• Program Components and Eligible Costs
• Determining and Documenting Homeless and Disability Status
• Match Requirements
• Recordkeeping
• Property Requirements
